The Teachings of Jon
Director Jennifer Owensby's film profiles her brother Jon, a North Carolina man with Down syndrome, who spent the first seven years of his life in a care facility. Included: archival clips of Jon moving out of the facility to return to his family's home, images of his daily routine, and shots of him at work in a vocational center.
